The project and the role description

Our client, a global digital product development and engineering company, has created an integrated app that simplifies clinical trial participation for patients from home. By leveraging data and AI, they enhance productivity and design more effective studies.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will validate and test the mobile app used in clinical studies, a solution designed to streamline and digitize clinical trials. Responsibilities include testing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, working closely with the Core development and BA teams to analyze the mobile scope, define test coverage, and ensure application quality. The role involves identifying and tracking defects, ensuring usability and functionality, and requires strong communication and cultural sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work with product development, BA, and QA teams to validate mobile and medical devices for new and existing medical trials.
• Test Plan Development: Design and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring product quality and device compatibility across various locations.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and resolve defects during testing.
• Documentation: Record test results, defects, and system changes.
• Process Improvement: Suggest improvements for future study onboarding.

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 3-5 years of experience in mobile application or SDK testing, demonstrating a strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
• Mobile proficiency: Hands-on experience with mobile devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Experience with Medical Devices
• Web service testing experience: Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and understanding of API
• Solid understanding of quality assurance theory, terminology, and strategies
• Experience with cloud test tools (e.g. Browser Stack)
• Knowledge of mobile hardware and software platforms
• Experience in working with Proxy Tool
• Experience with Test management System as XRay
• Experience with Integration T esting
• Location in CZECHIA or SLOVAKIA for easy signing of cooperation offers and occasional team meetings.
• Fluency in English (C1) to work effectively in a multinational team;

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, and regulated environments (GxP/SaMD)
• Knowledge of automation testing tools
