Senior Software Engineer - REMOTE - Salary £60K to £70K DOE

Location: Ireland, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Romania, Czech Republic (Office/Hybrid/Remote)

Position Overview:

We need a Senior Software Developer to join our Infrastructure Cloud product development team to create our next-generation products and user experiences. The ideal candidate will be part of a software development team that provides industry-leading software to digitalize the lifecycle of infrastructure assets, contributing to our mission of delivering innovative software and services for the enterprises and professionals who design, build, and operate the world's infrastructure—boosting both the global economy and environment for a better quality of life.

Your Responsibilities:
• Design: Participate in defining and interpreting features, and design specific services, products, and features focusing on stability, usability, and maintainability.
• Implementation: Utilize the latest development tools to transform designs into software products and services.
• Support: Maintain the existing codebase and provide assistance to the support team.
• Testing: Conduct unit testing throughout the project to ensure code quality and compliance with required use cases.
• DevOps: Follow DevOps processes from design through to delivery.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and use fully automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to deliver code changes into production.
• Learning: Continuously learn and apply the latest technologies and coding patterns.
• Security: Adhere to secure development practices.
• Mentorship: Mentor and share experience with team members.
• Collaboration: Work with other teams that consume or provide services.

What You Bring to the Team:
• A graduate or post-graduate degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience with C++.
• Experience working with SQL Server and Azure SQL databases.
• Familiarity with scrum and agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, testable, efficient, and secure code.
• Proficiency with C++ test frameworks, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Insight into the short- and long-term implications of coding strategies and styles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure deployment and cloud services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
