Job Overview: Nursing in the Netherlands involves providing care and support to clients in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, general hospitals, private clinics (e.g., addiction centers), psychiatric hospitals, and institutions for disability care. We will guide you through every step, including job placement and housing. A willingness to learn basic Dutch is a plus!
Position: Professional Nurse As a professional nurse, your primary responsibility is clinical reasoning. You will determine the necessary care based on nursing diagnoses, usually under the supervision of a nurse colleague or another responsible party.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans, outlining client goals and provided care.
- Ensure the general well-being of clients.
- Engage in conversations with clients, their networks, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform nursing tasks such as:
- Intramuscular/subcutaneous injections
- Catheterization
- Wound care
- Intravenous injections
- Tube feeding
- Oxygen administration
