Key Responsibilities:

For Doctors:

1. Patient Care:

• Conduct medical histories and physical exams.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under supervision.
• Perform procedures like blood draws, wound care, and medication administration.

1. Diagnosis and Treatment:

• Interpret lab results and diagnostic tests.
• Guide and inform patients about their conditions and treatment options.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.

1. Collaboration:

• Work with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary consultations.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Write reports and referral letters.
• Ensure proper registration of care in electronic patient files (EPD).

1. Training and Development:

• Stay updated with medical knowledge through training and courses.
• Engage in internal training and supervision.

For Nurses:

1. Patient Care:

• Assist in medical histories and physical exams.
• Support the implementation of treatment plans.
• Perform nursing procedures like wound care, medication administration, and patient monitoring.

• Guide and inform patients about their care and treatment.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

1. Collaboration:

• Work with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary consultations.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate nursing records.
• Ensure proper registration of care in electronic patient files (EPD).

1. Training and Development:

Qualifications and Skills:

For Doctors:

• Education: Completed medical education.
• Certification: BIG registration supervised if necessary.
• Skills:
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written).
• Effective team player.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

For Nurses:

• Education: Completed nursing education.
• Certification: Relevant nursing certifications.
• Skills:
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written).
• Effective team player.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Requirements for Both:

• Proficient in English, willing to learn Dutch.
• Experience in a clinical setting or general practice is a plus.
